OmniLore Quest

Keep working after you close chat.

Humans communicate with each other over email. Why shouldn’t you communicate with your OmniLore agent the same way?

That is the intent — and it has to be true. Your personal OmniLore agent stays on the work when you leave. When it needs you, it writes to your personal inbox or your OmniLore address. You reply in that thread, in plain language, the way you already write email.

How it feels in real life

You do not leave a robot a standing order. You keep a correspondence. Your OmniLore agent writes like someone still on the work. You write back as you would to a colleague.

01

Ask in Chat

Say what to keep working on. In OmniLore mode, not Quick.

02

Pick an inbox

Personal address, OmniLore mailbox, or 1 / 2 if both are on file.

03

Close the laptop

The work does not vanish because the tab did.

04

Talk over email

Same thread, same inbox, same kind of reply you would send a person.

Use cases, as they actually sound

A few ordinary threads. Write back the way you already write email.

Use case 1

Weekly notes, after you close the laptop

Maya starts in Chat. Later her agent needs one call, so it writes to her personal inbox.

In OmniLore Chat

Maya

Keep working on my weekly notes after I close this. Email me if you get stuck.

Maya’s OmniLore agent

I’ll keep working on this. Want me to email you if I get stuck — your personal inbox or your OmniLore address?

Maya

Personal. And yes, start.

Maya’s OmniLore agent

I’ll keep working on this. I’ll email you if I get stuck.

Later, in email

Short version for the team, or the longer one?

Hi Maya — I kept going on the weekly notes. I have a decent draft from what we already talked about.

One thing I don’t want to guess: the short version for the team, or the longer one with the open questions at the bottom?

Reply in this thread and I’ll keep going.

Short version. Leave the open questions out of this one — I’ll cover those live on Monday.

Re: Short version for the team, or the longer one?

Got it. I’ll finish the short version and write you if anything else comes up.

Use case 2

“Use my OmniLore address — that’s what I check on the phone.”

Jordan has both inboxes on file. They pick the OmniLore mailbox because they are about to travel.

In OmniLore Chat

Jordan

Keep going on the vendor comparison. I’ll be in airports the next two days.

Jordan’s OmniLore agent

I can keep working on that.

If I get stuck, I can email you. You have two on file:

1. Your personal inbox
2. Your OmniLore mailbox

Which one?

Jordan

2 — use my OmniLore mailbox. That’s what I actually open on the plane.

The next afternoon, in OmniLore Mail

Need a call before I go further on the vendor list

Hi Jordan — I lined up the three vendors from the notes we already had. I’m not going to invent a winner.

Do you still want this scored on price, or did last week’s conversation mean “support hours matter more”?

Re: Need a call before I go further on the vendor list

Support hours first. Price second. Don’t drop anyone yet — just rank them that way.

Use case 3

Away from Chat, still in the conversation

Sam is out of the office. They never reopen Chat. They just answer the email.

Before they leave

Sam

Keep working on the outline for Thursday’s briefing. Personal inbox if you need me — I won’t be in Chat.

Sam’s OmniLore agent

I’ll keep working on the outline. I’ll email your personal inbox if I get stuck.

Two ways to open Thursday’s briefing

Hi Sam — I have two honest openings and I don’t want to pick for you.

A. Start with what changed this week.
B. Start with the decision you still need from the group.

Which one?

B. Lead with the decision. People skim. Put the changes in a short list after that.

Re: Two ways to open Thursday’s briefing

That helps. I’ll rebuild the opening around the decision and keep the changes short. I’ll write you if anything else is unclear.

Use case 4

“Pause this. I’ll be heads-down until Thursday.”

Priya does not want more mail while she is in meetings. She can say so in the same thread.

I held the draft — need you on the audience

Hi Priya — I stopped before guessing the audience. Is this for the working group, or for the board packet?

Pause this for now. I’ll be heads-down until Thursday. Pick it up then — board packet, not the working group.

Re: I held the draft — need you on the audience

Paused. I saved where we left off, including “board packet.” Email me or say so in Chat when you want me to pick it up.

Use case 5

This piece is in good shape. Start the next one.

Alex finishes one stretch of work over email, then asks the agent to begin the follow-up — same inbox, same thread of trust.

In email, after a few days

From Alex’s OmniLore agent · alex@omnilore.ai
To Alex · their personal inbox
I think this draft is as far as I should take it

Hi Alex — I took the briefing as far as the notes support. I don’t want to pad it.

Want me to stop here, or start the follow-up on the vendor list we talked about?

This one’s in good shape. Start the vendor follow-up. Same inbox. If you get stuck, ask — don’t guess a ranking.

Re: I think this draft is as far as I should take it

I’ll start the vendor follow-up from here and keep writing you on this inbox. I won’t rank anyone until you say so.

What Quest is, and is not

  • Quest is for invited members, in OmniLore mode. Quick chat cannot do this.
  • Mail is sent from your OmniLore address. You choose whether it goes to your registered personal inbox or your OmniLore mailbox.
  • Reply in that thread to talk — a real email conversation, not a status blast. If you want the work paused or stopped, say so in plain language in the same email.
  • Quest keeps work going and asks when it is stuck. It is not a finished research pack, an inbox digest, or an unattended pull request.
  • It will not pop back open in Chat when it checks in. Email is the conversation while you are away.
  • Access is invitation-only. Capabilities vary by account.

Write back the way you already write email.

Existing members can start in OmniLore Chat, then keep the conversation in the inbox they pick. Teams evaluating a private beta can request a walkthrough.
